The Challenge
Viva Painters was contacted for an urgent commercial epoxy flooring installation for a new warehouse prior to its official opening. The project presented several difficulties:
- Massive Scale: The warehouse floor measured approximately 15,000 sqm.
- Poor Condition: The existing floor was in very bad condition, requiring extensive preparation.
- Specialised Requirement: The client specifically needed an oil and acid-resistant epoxy coating, demanding a precise, industrial-grade solution.
The Solution: Accelerated & Specialised Execution
To meet the tight deadline and specialised requirements, Viva Painters implemented a multi-pronged strategy:
- Resource Mobilisation: Three dedicated teams of professional epoxy technicians were immediately allocated to the project.
- Expedited Preparation: To drastically cut down on time, additional heavy-duty grinding machines were rented, allowing for faster and more thorough floor preparation.
- Material Expertise: We consulted with a specialised epoxy manufacturer to ensure we selected the optimal anti-oil and acid-resistant epoxy product for the client’s industrial needs.
With three teams working in tandem, the entire 15,000 sqm surface was professionally prepared and the specialised epoxy applied in a remarkable two weeks.
